Description: | Multi-unit auction mechanisms are among the most important in- struments used for the allocation of spectrum licenses, airport time slots or delivery routes. In our research we will experimentally exam- ine the attributes of complex multi-unit auction mechanisms under various modifications of communication among participants. Build- ing on our previous research that has already proven that allowing for communication increases efficiency in specific auction settings, we will further use design and methodology alterations that will strengthen and enhance understanding of agents behavior in multi- object auctions with collusive properties. We will make structural changes to communication of participants, character of the commu- nication channels and also enhance competition through parametric setting of experimental treatments. |
