The bachelor thesis named “Entrepreneurial environment in the Czech Republic in scope of small and medium-sized businesses (a case study of private trading company)” focuses on entrepreneurial environment in terms of institutional development and uses practical experience of the firm’s management and employees. It deals with setting of general administrative conditions of carrying private business, such as defining the proprietary rights, conditions for establishing a business and its termination, enforceability of law, tax burden etc. Special attention is dedicated to issues of labour market: the study tries to describe the specifics of choosing the employees, possibilities and methods of their motivation and evaluation and also express an opinion to the recent state of labour law. Furthermore it deals with negotiating with business partners, financing of the company and relations with financial institutions and it also copes with the issue of creating the firm’s functional structure, work organization and use of information technology. There is an intention to render the importance of all these fields and to draw attention to their mutual cohesion and complexity. The case study bears the burden of a subjective opinion of the author and selective experience of the described company, which on the other hand can bring a different view of institutional conditions of entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and their development. |
