| Abstract: | This thesis examines the informal mikrofinance institutions that play an important role in the fight against poverty and moreover reduce financial market imperfections. The goal of this paper is to describe the particular systems of informal mikrofinance market. It focuses on the rotating savings and credit association (ROSCA). I try to find out the convergent trends of ROSCA on the basis of four studies from Africa. |
