| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of Italian economic miracle (1958-63). Special emphasis is stressed regarding the economic dualism that as a result of the economic miracle not only remained unsolved but also raised to a new dimension. The scope of the thesis is as follows: In the first part the thesis concerns with the historic preconditions and chronic problems of Italian economy. The second part analyses the factors that led to the start of the unprecedented growth. The third part discusses the nature of economic miracle as an export-led expansion as well as its repercussions. The fourth part covers the issue of the newly emerged dimension of economic dualism. In the fifth past we question the effects of the industrialisation policy on the development of the Southern regions. |
