Bachelor thesis „Public Procurement: Is Transparency Able to Kill the Corruption?“ looks for an answer to the question if the transparency of contractual procedure is able to prevent concerned parties (public officials, private firms) from gaining private advantages at the expense of public budget. The thesis firstly deals with the public procurement in general, the division of orders, contractual procedures and basic principles of procuring. To answer the above-mentioned question, the author must also examine, which types of corruption actually occur in the public procurement. The next part of this text is related to factual instruments that should increase the transparency and reduce the corruption in the public procurement. |
