| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the phenomenon of hyperinflation. At first it focuses on a theoretical background of mechanisms of hyperinflation and then an overview of important hyperinflations which occurred in the past follows. It emphasizes the cases of modern hyperinflations from the second half of the twentieth century and an analysis of their common characteristics. In conclusion the author learns what the differences are between modern and classical hyperinflations. |
