| Abstract: | This work is focusing on environmental problamatic and on activities of European Union in this area. The main purpose of this work is to charachterize any analyze the most important environmental tools, that are beeing used, and their effectivity in specific situations. In also presents the environmental tax reform, which has been, in the begining of the year 2008, put into praxis also in the Czech Republic: together with it, this work is trying to show the possible progress of the situation on the emissionpermit market, after the United States have been withdrawn from the Kyoto Protocol. In order to create a better picture of the given problematic, a separate chapter is dedicated to tde description of the world environment factors of pollution. The basic information about the actual situation is completed with an historical overview of the environmental policy and with the most important international contracts and agreements, including their principles. |
