The main goal of the thesis is to build an econometric model of the Czech foreign trade with European Union for the years 1993 – 1999 using the LTS robust regression method. We compose a logarithmical model for export and import and find out values of the coefficients for main economic variables contained in Ricardian and Heckscher-Ohlin model. Moreover we identify the economic branches that stick to the model and find out a growing trend of their number. Based on this, we can show the progress of the Czech transition in that time. |
