|Abstract:||This work has the name of Organic farming in the Czech Republic. My purpose was to describe the current state of the Organic farming in the Czech Republic, it`s development since 1990 and to outline it`s perspectives in the future. Since 1990, the organic method of farming has been state-aided in the Czech Republic and we can observe a dynamic increase of areas managed by this method of farming and also a steep rise of number of organic farms. This work catches the development of European organic farming and compares it with the Czech one, the world state is also mentioned.
At present, the market with organic products and organic food, is progressing in the European countries very rapidly. If Czech organic farmers are able to surmount some problems like insufficient manufacturing capacities or deficient know how of consumers etc., there will be a chance to hit successfully not only the Czech food market, but also the European one.
