Abstract: | China is the most populated country in the world and it covers a huge part of the Asian continent. With its growing economic power it also becomes very important „player in the global economic playground“. But even if it is getting in the position of the superpower, it is still communist country which is developing. The main decisive word is still in the hands of the central authority and the state has its own monopoly power. Its system of a market socialism brought to Chinese economy some market elements and in comparison with previous situation changed a lot but it is still impossible to say that some bigger step in bringing freedom to Chinese decisions was made. This bachelor thesis is concerning just one of the point of view on this superpower and that is banking. It tries to describe a number of aspects influencing the current situation in banking and it wants to find the real reasons for this situation. It recapitulates the history of modern reforms, current structure of the Chinese banking system and mainly its today’s situation. It shows the current problems and their reasons. This work as a complex should brings to its reader a summary of a situation of a Chinese banking and its outlook into the future. |
