An Attempt to economic Analysis of Corruption in the Czech Republic deals with the section of microecomy that is explored unsufficiently until now. At first, the author defines the corruption and indicates the reason why the corruption has emerged. To give the essay a real dimension the author supports his work with empiric data. Afterwards the author searches for a criterium, which would enable him to evaluate the level of corruption in the Czech Republic. The author quickly finds out this task has very indefinite solution. It is possible to claim only the approximate level of corruption in the Czech republic. After this the author approaches the analysis from the other perspective. He tries to determine how the individuals act when confronted with the corruption opportunity. The knowledge observed is applicable on the Czech Republic. The author illustrates it is possible to construct the supply and demand curve for corruption, that the market of corruption and even the market-clearing price exist. Finally, using these models the author is able to formulate rules and remedies which can decrease the level of corruption in the Czech republic. |
