The globalization factor, each year more and more apparent in all spheres of life on the Earth, is already affecting us in both direct and indirect ways. This paper describes the causes and effects of globalization on the human population and our civilization with its landless technical economic expansion and self-importance, as well as the effects on the ‘virginal’ ecosystem. I tried to highlight especially the human factor and mention relatively actual facts that would evoke the feeling of responsibility in the reader as the direct participant of the whole process. There is fairly enough information available now, but as the title suggests – “When a man doesn’t care about the problem of globalization” – adequate reactions are somehow not coming. Do we still have enough time? |
