| Abstract: |
This paper tries to describe the influence of privatization and transformational processes on a model of Czech corporate governance. We put the emphasis on description of institutional environment in which the whole process proceeded. Special attention is payed to financial markets particularly to banks which were the main providers of financial sources. First of all we want to find out if it is relevant to assume that there is a soft budget constraint in bank sector and if it is then we would like to find out what kind of effect it has on Czech economy or on the model of Czech corporate governance.
