Education
Canadian and Czech citizen with advanced graduate degrees in Finance and Economics (Montreal). Lectureships at several universities and colleges in North America and Europe over the years have been supplemented by extensive experience in teaching practical hands-on seminars for finance professionals, stock brokers, investment bankers, and senior managers.
Job history
Financial economist with analytical and multilingual communication skills and diversified experience acquired on developed capital as well as derivatives markets, and on various international assignments throughout North America (starting upon arrival in Canada in the early 1960s).
He has had a substantial exposure to capital markets initially as a trader, technical analyst, and registered representative (also licensed to deal and hedge with options and other financial products with non-linear pay-off profiles) in the stock brokerage industry in Canada and the U.S. starting in the mid-1960s.
