13.04.2023 - Deadline for Master's Thesis Proposals is June 30, 2023
If you want to defend your thesis at the end of the Summer Semester 2023/2024, the topic of your thesis must be confirmed by your supervisor in the Student Information System by June 30, 2023. Use the "Thesis (Selection of subject)" module in SIS to assign to your topic. You must upload the proposal (following the example available on the website of JEM213 in SIS), approved by your supervisor (no need for signatures), into Moodle by June 30, 2023. Enroll for the "Master's Thesis Seminar I" at https://dl2.cuni.cz/course/view.php?id=4185, upload the file to section "Proposal - draft". You only need to log in with the same username/password that you use to log in to SIS. You can choose from a list of offered topics in SIS (or here) or come up with your own topic. In any case, you must find a suitable advisor. If your topic is not on the list, ask your supervisor to publish it. We recommend you choose a narrowly defined empirical topic. In any case, you must find a suitable advisor. Please note that the supply of advisors is limited, and most of them accept students on a first-come, first-served basis. Plan to subscribe to the Master's thesis seminar 1 in the Winter Semester of 2023 and to the Master's thesis seminar 2 in the Summer Semester of 2024.
