Description: | Monography “European Integration, Structural Change and its Impact on European Foreign Policies” to be published both in Chinese and English is being finalized to complete succesful three-year interdisciplinary project of Charles University and East China Normal University, Shanghai. Within its frame also three longer-term stays of Czech participants were held in Shanghai and of Chinese in Prague. At the same time three workshops and number of short-time lecture and research visits were performed. Enclosed there is a list of 17 top Chinese universities within ESCP and their 30 European partners universities (it includes number of top European universities covering the field of economics and European Studies (London School of Economics, Bath University, three universities in Paris, number of leading German universities etc.) The only Central- and Eastern European university participating at that unique EU project of ESCP in China was Charles University (faculty of Social Sciences) represented by prof.Michal Mejstrik (IES-Institute of Economic studies, director). Due to succesful project prof. Mejstrik was invited as one of four European Universities representatives invited by Dr. Hans-Guenterem Wagnerem, European director of „EU-China European Studies Centres Programme", to participate at the ESCP final workshop (30.1.2008) and ESCP Final Closing Ceremony (31.1.2008) in Pekingu. According to Mr.Wagner „Charles University has played an important role in the ESCP project implemenation at one of our Chinese partners.“ It can be illustrated both by enclosed invited presentation of M.Mejstrik at ESCP Final workshop, but also by the final presentation of Dr Michaela Mechtholda at ESCP Final Closing Ceremony, who referred to the Czech experience when developing Chinese universities further. |

Work in grant: | Dokončují se závěrečné monografie “European Integration, Structural Change and its Impact on European Foreign Policies” v čínštině a angličtině, které završují tříletý úspěšný interdisciplinární projekt FSV-UK s East China Normal University, Shanghai. Vjeho rámci se uskutečnily i tři dlouhodobější vědeckopedagogické pobyty českých účastníků v Shanghaji a obdobně i čínských účastníků v Praze. Současně se uskutečnily střídavě i tři pracovní workshopy a řada krátkodobějších pobytů doplněných přednáškami. |
