Abstract: The housing market has been characteristic of significant increase in prices in the past three years. This project focuses on the Prague market specifics, while its main objective is to explain the housing prices behavior since 2002 according to specific locality features and macroeconomic and demographic aspects.
The project also aims to explain the state of Prague housing market and its housing supply and demand. It shows that Prague’s housing market is presently in the situation of price boom and that the structure of housing supply does not correspond fully to the structure of demand.
The analytic part of the project subsequently reveals that the most significant attributes for the height of the prices are locality features.
