Abstract in English The subject of this bachelor thesis is regulation and supervision of the financial market. First part of this thesis offers a theoretical view on reasons for and approaches to regulation. Second part primarily deals with institutional organization of the regulation and supervision, describes individual models and their advantages and disadvantages and offers a comparison of this structure within the frame of the European Union. The main emphasis is put on the last part that aims at the evaluation and description of the integration of the financial supervision in the Czech Republic to the Czech National Bank.
