Economic research gives its explorers only limited opportunities of conducting controlled experiments. Computational economics and complex system modeling introduce new pathways for economists and social scientists. It allows them to study processes resulting from complex interactions of elementary institutions and components on micro-level. Moreover, theses processes were find difficult to handle by analytical tools of mathematics. This thesis includes both theoretical approach to complex social networks modeling and practical application – a model of development of cooperation strategy in population of agents interacting through the prisoner’s dilemma game. Different types of imitation behaviour, topology of network and their impact on resultant equilibrium of a network are studied. |
