|Abstract:||Nuclear energy is an important segment of producing electric energy. The goal of this paper is to estimate the future development of the uranium and nuclear fuel market up to year 2030.
In the beginning, there is a brief description of the production of the nuclear fuel. Estimates on future development of uranium demand based on installed capacity of commercial reactors, overview of world uranium reserves, estimates of mines’ production up to year 2030, overview of enrichment and fuel production facilities follow.
In the conclusion of every part considering production and processing of uranium there is a comparison of estimated capacities with estimated demand up to year 2030.
