Abstract: The goal of this thesis is to examine eligibility of the predictions of coalitions
in the Chamber of Deputies in Czech Republic based on the economic electoral
platforms. A data set for the years 2013 and 2017 is used based on the questions
and answers from voting advice application www.volebnikalkulacka.cz. Using
principal component analysis a 2-D political space is defined and for each of the
two election years four methods of coalition prediction are used and compared.
The results show that indeed coalitions are partly made based on the economics
platforms with other condition being also relevant.
