The bachelor thesis Modernization of spanish economy 1800-1985 deals with economic history of Spain in the period 1800-1985. Is treated the process of liberatization and gradual industrialization of spanish, traditionally very enclosed economy, in the nineteenth and in the beginning of the twentieth century. Then is worked up the influence of the world economic depression in the thirties and evaluation of spanish economy during the civil war1936 -1939. Special accent insists on the period of dictature of Francisco Franco and the following democratic transition. In the thesis are described the epochs of economic policy during Franco`s supremacy and it`s impact on the economic growth in Spain. The last chapter is dedicated to economic development in the seventies, which took place in the conditions of political transition and of the oil crisis. |
