| Abstract: | The dissertation includes three essays which focus on various tax issues in the Czech Republic. The tax policy is a crucial part of fiscal policy which will, after the country joins the European Monetary Union, be one of the important remaining policy tools for influencing domestic economic conditions when the conduct of the monetary policy will be delegated to the European Central Bank. |
